Medimex: How could it sound?
Between the 11st and 13rd, April 2019, thanks to Medimex, our town Foggia will be turned into the Apulian capital of music: it will host very interesting events, concerts and seminars, which could improve the cultural offer and, consequently, the social level and the quality of life of those who will be attending them. In order to share those aims, and to be in synergy with the events established by Regione Puglia, the Mastering.it audio labs will give the opportunity to make guided tours in our venue and, moreover, to attend 4 seminars for free, focused on 4 leading aspects of music production: Drums, Bass, Guitars and Vocals.
Here are the short seminars, with free admission (in Italian and English languages, subject to availability):
-DRUMS, focus: Thursday 11st April, from 11:00 to 13:00
Concepts about the world of drums and rhythms, from the physics of the instrument to some microphonic, sound recording and performance techniques.
-GUITARS, focus: Thursday 11st April, from 16:00 to 18:00
Concepts about the world of guitars (acoustic and electric) and amplifiers from the physics of the instruments to some sound recording and performance techniques.
-BASS, focus: Friday 12nd April, from 11:00 to 13:00
Everything about the world of low frequencies propagation, electric bass and amplifiers, from the physics of the instruments to some sound recording and performance techniques.
-VOCALS, focus: Saturday 13rd April, from 11:00 to 13:00
From the physics of the vocal tract to the expressive possibilities of this extraordinary bio-acoustic instrument. It includes microphonic, sound recording and performance techniques.
